60 years after the Beatles’ first appearance in Hamburg: A tribute live from the Grand Hall.

In the world of music, 17 August 1960 was a very special date. This day marked the emergence of a band which no-one could guess at the time would one day become the most successful and famous group ever. And in Hamburg, no less! The five Liverpool lads had come to the city on the Elbe to get some experience and grow together. Their name was The Beatles. They gave their first gig in the music club Indra in St. Pauli before just a handful of people. But what came afterwards is long since (music) history…

Today, exactly 60 years later, celebrated jazz pianist Julia Hülsmann and her top-notch trio partners Christopher Dell and Nils Wogram present »Come Together!«, a programme of Beatles arrangements specially devised for the occasion. It’s their very personal tribute to the greatest band of all time.
