What happens when a pianist specialising in contemporary music meets three avant-garde musicians and they compose together in real time? When modern piano pieces are developed and played in a highly virtuosic way together with a trio of vibraphone, drums and double bass? Tamara Stefanovich (piano) and the trio of Christopher Dell (vibraphone), Christian Lillinger (drums) and Jonas Westergaard (double bass) venture this experiment – in a special constellation of instruments that in itself is reminiscent of typical ensemble formations in contemporary music. The four embark on a search for exciting new music one has never heard before in such a way.
